Learning Environment

Fellowship Collegiate Academy is housed in the Education Center of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship - a 154,000 square foot multipurpose facility with 54 classrooms.

We are fully equipped to meet the educational needs of growing minds.

LIbrary

Our library is over 8,000 square feet and equipped with academic articles, electronic card catalogs, publications, newspapers and educational resources for research. A librarian is available during regular school hours to assist students with research or additional needs.

Science Classroom and Laboratory

Our state-of-the-art science lab is fully equipped with laboratory essentials and an interactive whiteboard. Students are provided with top of the line equipment to excel in their academic performance.

Computer Labs

We have two fully equipped computer labs housing Microsoft Window computers. Interactive whiteboards are incorporated in each computer lab to provide hands-on 21st-Century Learning.

Technology Labs

zSpace gives our students the opportunity to learn and interact with simulated objects in virtual reality. zSpace combines elements of artificial reality and virtual reality to create lifelike experiences that are immersive and interactive. Explore learning in the 21st Century

Robotics Lab

The Robotics lab is a high tech workspace that promotes creativity, design collaboration and operation of electronic robots. Team competes in First LEGO League and Sumobots tournaments annually to showcase their work and compete on a national level.

Maker Space

Our Maker Space lab is a dedicated creative space for students to collaborate and work with raw materials and elements to encourage imagination and inspiration. Our Maker Space is equipped with a 3D and Laser printer.

Multimedia Spaces

Four multimedia rooms host our early childhood, elementary and middle school weekly chapels. These dynamic spaces are used for special events, student recitals, faculty training, parent meetings and workshops. Our multimedia space includes a professional recording studio, cafe, game room and performance stage to host events.

Cafetorium

Our cafetorium includes a full food service team and provides breakfast, lunch and an assortment of snacks. Upper school students (6 - 8 grade) have special access to the Eagle Cafe. The cafetorium is utilized as a gym and has a built in stage for large-scale assemblies or gatherings.

Courtyard

The courtyard is utilized for outdoor learning experiences for our students, lunchtime, choir chorales, assemblies and early childhood tricycle rides.

Music Rooms

Our music rooms include three fine arts classrooms, two soundproof band practice rooms and one choir room where our students can perfect and enhance their musical talents.

Art Room

The art room is a creative space that promotes imagination and encourages students to explore their artistic talents.

Gymnasiums

Our two full-sized gymnasiums are used for FCA athletic games and practices, special performances, pep rallies, combined chapel and additional school-wide events. Gymnasium B includes boy and girl locker rooms for our student-athletes. The concession stand is stocked and open during athletic events to generate revenue for student council.

Accreditation

Fellowship Collegiate Academy is fully accredited through the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and AdvancED. Through an intense review of academic offerings, biblical integration, performing arts and community involvement, ACSI has granted accreditation to Fellowship Collegiate Academy.

Our students begin their education at 18 months of age in our Early Childhood program and continue through our middle school, giving us the opportunity to partner with families in preparing their children for high school and beyond.

The spiritual component is a major distinctive of FCA. Our philosophy of education is rooted in the Kingdom Agenda worldview. 

Our core curriculum includes 21st century learning strategies focusing on language, science, mathematics, and technology.

Our enrichment programs include an emphasis on fine arts, music theory, technology, world languages and athletics.

The curriculum provides students with a well-rounded education that prepares them for future success in higher education and leadership as outstanding Christian professionals.

Fellowship Collegiate Academy is a ministry of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.

FCA has access to the vast resources of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship.

FCA administers a national norm-reference achievement test to all new elementary and middle school students prior to acceptance.

Students enrolled in the Early Childhood program may arrive as early as 6:30 am and stay as late as 6 pm.

FCA was established in 1984.

FCA’s mission is to provide students of all ages a superior collegiate education in a nurturing Christian environment that enables them to reach their highest potential in life and apply a biblical worldview that impacts the culture.

FCA’s curriculum is developed to align with a biblical worldview and to meet state and national standards. We use a variety of Christian and challenging college preparatory curriculum resources that include Purposeful Design, Pearson, Core Knowledge, Scott-Foresman, Houghton-Mifflin-Harcourt, McGraw-Hill, and Abeka. We give specific attention to selecting materials that represent our students, that provide them with a rich knowledge-base, and that lend themselves to biblical, technological, and multi-disciplinary integration.

With two fully equipped computer labs, Robotics Lab, Maker Space and zSpace, our students have the technological advantages they may not receive at a charter or public school.

Technology is integrated into every grade. Our Early Childhood program uses engineering kits and smart tablets for educational enrichment.

Middle school students are assigned personal laptops to promote learning anywhere.

Early Childhood: 6:30 am – 6 pm

Uniforms are required for all students enrolled at FCA (18 months – Grade 8).
